TEDSIG Pre-Conference Event 2023

19.10.2023 00:00:00

We are thrilled to announce that we will have the chance to introduce TED SIG to our participants on our Pre-Conference Event on 19 October 2023. This introduction session will be followed by a Focus Group Discussion to identify the existing needs. Our pre PCE will be finalized by a Plenary to be held by Gabriela Kleckova. Below are further details about the event.

Session I – Introduction to TED SIG & Focus Groups (13:30 - 14:45)

Our session begins with a lively interactive activity designed to help participants get to know each other.

Following this, committee members will take the stage to introduce TED SIG comprehensively. We'll delve into the mission, purpose, and aims of the SIG, shedding light on its structure, roles and responsibilities, membership details, and the array of professional development activities and opportunities awaiting our members.

To wrap things up, participants will collaborate in groups to explore and articulate their expectations from TESOL Türkiye TED SIG. Each group will prepare a poster displaying their ideas, and a representative from each group will have the chance to present these thoughts at the end of the session.
